Seat Codes are

* available
* occupied by normal persons
* occupied by v-flyers (may be additional noise surrounding these seats so be aware)

So basically just an EI plane in VS livery. Assuming no cabin work being done.

I think as its a wet lease they have to let you know who the operator is. So maybe to cabin work?

Jfenny - can we have a screenshot of the seatmap, or let us know how many rows?

Nice one Jurgen... y)
I've been looking at least twice daily ...ever since T-90 days.

Couldn't get row 1 (all greyed out) so I'll have to make do with 2c both ways..after a few hiccups and an online chat as the seat map wouldn't confirm seats requested.

Anyways, maybe I got Seq2 for seat request? ):

Airbus A320...29 rows.

After a few lines of mentioning that V-Flyers on this inaugural, part of the online chat with Jason (permission to name given) I got a few more bits of in flight service info:

Jason : .......... We're pretty excited about it here too Paul! Have you heard about the service we'll be offering on-board?
Paul : No..come on..spill the beans! All of the V-Flyer.com forum would love to hear about it.
Jason: I look forward to reading about it on there a little later then! There'll be a breakfast meal service for all early morning flights, along with snacks and drinks, and for all other times of the day we'll be providing light snacks (similar to our afternoon tea service on the long haul flights), showcasing 'the best of British' food. The final touches are yet to be revealed but should be announced in the coming weeks.
Paul : OK, Thanks looking forward to it...
Jason: ... It's good to be excited as it's a big step for us as an airline!
Paul : Thanks for all your help Jason. Off to the forum now to let then know. Can I quote your last paragraph about the service offering? And maybe "big you up" by name due the the excellent service you have given me?
Jason: Of course Paul.. and thank you! Is there anything else I can assist you with today at all?
Paul : No thanks Jason. All sorted now, maybe chat again. Have a great evening. Cheers
Jason: You too Paul, enjoy the flight!

Old news. |:)

For those looking for seat recommendations 3, 5 and 6A/F are good window seats. 2,4 and 7 aren't.

Nice leather seats (unless the interiors have been changes). Some of the EI planes are themselves wet-leased and have Recaro seats on grey instead of green.

Finally, please look after those planes as I shall probably be on one of them when the wet-lease ends. I don't want one that was trashed on its inaugural flight, thank you very much ):

Grrrrr just gone in and checked, not letting me save a seat allocation for the VS3046 :(!

Comes up as 'Your seating request has been successful.' But when I go back into the seat map, there's nothing. return flight is OK though!!

Same here. That's the reason I had the online chat with VS last night.
Outbound request not showing in MMB
Return request is showing in MMB
All confirmed OK by VS
Until.....as Tonty says "I hope there won't be a rush of 'VS moved my seats' posts in a few weeks time"

12 and 13 are exit rows. Row 12 doesn't recline.

I think I'll get on to Crawley Towers for row 1 ): ): .

ISTBC but on a A320 I don't think there is room for a bassinet on the bulkhead so infants would need to be on a lap.

Indeed - I imagine it would provide a little extra space for infants on laps rather than the standard seating.. I could be wrong though.

And I'm the one all alone at the back! Sat in this seat on my last trip on an EI A320 so know its a decent seat, where as others have mentioned row 2 didn't line up with the windows all that well.
