Well, as the subjejct says, for better or for worse, my year long transition from VS to BA is now complete.

I have gained BA AG and my VS AG expires in 2 months, the Amex is switched and so on.

Having just returned from an enjoyable Daddy/Daughter trip to MCO with BA, I can still say that I am more than content with my choice.

The household account is a huge bonus for me, and she even gets kiddy packs on board (in addition to the miles flown), and they are perfectly adequate.

I will continue to post TRs for my BA flights if folks are interested, but have noticed that they don't generate as much interest (for fairly obvious reasons!), so may not be as diligent at writing TRs as I once was.

And now, I just need to find a way of using up the 160k FC miles I have, and have been struggling to use...maybe a joy-ride to JFK?

For me, please keep posting. I think they are interesting, particularly when proving an honest assessment of the service.

I too would be interested in reading your BA TR's, it's always good to see how thing are over there and what to do with my Amex MR points.

Thanks

I thought that before submitting various EK ones of my OZ trips over the last year, I wondered if there was any point. However there is obviously interest and I think it is useful to report back on alternatives.

And this forum generally seems to have a more open minded attitude to the competition than perhaps you would find if submitting a product report in praise of Android on an Apple fanboys forum!!

Exactly. Even if we would prefer to fly VS there are times when pricing, availability or routing make it not possible, and it's always good to be informed on the alternatives.
