Good morning all.

My wife and I are flying out to LAX on the VS007 in three weeks (Sun 24 March)
and would like to invite two fellow V-Flyers to use the Clubhouse on that morning.

We are returning on Sat 06 April on the VS008 so can also invite two guests into the ANZ lounge at LAX.

Regards
Dominic.

I travel this route a lot and I was unaware that you could guest anyone into the Air New Zealand lounge. I don't think that is possible since it isn't a Virgin Clubhouse.

Anyone else?

Thanks for that I will double check, I must admit I made that sometimes fatal error of assuming you would be able to guest people in.

Thanks

Thank you very much DL y)

I had already sent an email to Virgin asking for them to clarify, still no reply from them though.

Thanks Dominic.

I have just received a reply from Virgin confirming what DL has previously stated.
Here

"Gold members can take one guest to visit any Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse or shared lounge prior to boarding your Virgin Atlantic flight, regardless of your class of travel.

Upper Class passengers and a guest can use the Air New Zealand Lounge and all of its facilities, from the Business Zone to the showers in the Refreshment Zone. The lounge is located in Terminal 2."

Thanks for the clarification Dominic.. I always question the shared lounges bit and indeed sometimes checkin staff and lounge greeters are particularly difficult.

Gotta stand our ground people 8D

How long to VS take to get back to you on that email by the way? Sent a massive compliments to the crew for a flight I took a couple of weeks back and only received the standard thanks for your email nonsense...

I too have sent positive feedback following flights where the crew have in my opinion have excelled and have also got the the standard reply followed a couple of weeks later by a "your comments have been passed on, thanks for writing, it's always nice to hear good things" a few weeks later.

However it only took eight days to reply to my enquiry about guest invites to shared lounges. y)

Thanks DL! March 22 my other half and I are taking 3 people who are in PE with us to JNB from LAX. SO, that means we can get two of them in with our Gold Status' and one we can pay to get in!

Thanks!
