Having had a few drinks in Amsterdam the night before with colleagues I was feeling a little worse for wear and looking forward to getting home.
Not sure if the 10.50 to LHR is always operated by a 767 but this flight was which makes a nice change from the a320 as personally I feel it is more roomy.
Priority security and boarding at the gate all on time until the captain announces once all are on board, jetway taken away and doors shut that down to bad weather at LHR we would be on the ground at AMS for at least one hour. One of my flights earlier this year suffered bird strike to both engines so I don't have much luck departing AMS.
Cue irate passengers and a number of demands to get off which was allowed for those with no checked luggage.
Finally airborne about an hour later. Drinks/food service commenced and bizarrely they use one trolley and go up each aisle separately. Never seen that before. At long last my BA profile (at least for a special meal is working, aisle seat preference is not) and I get a very tasty chargrilled chicken, pepper, beetroot and goat cheese salad. The poor chap to me looked most disappointed with his cheese/ham croissant, fresh fruit and sticky pastry.

Landed about one hour late, drove to slough and back then ended up on stand right by security.
All in all a good flight but crew not outstanding or memorable
