Is Virgin Atlantic about to drop Dubai?

We are booked in Dec coming back in Jan do you think it will go before then and if it does what happens to our tickets?

Ideas on potential routes? Plenty.. most discussed before though. VS should be thinking with/ahead of the curve and looking VERY seriously at introducing several South American routes.. preferably before a couple of events down the line

I do hope they keep the Dubai route, even seasonally for VH... was thinking about spending some of my mileage bank on an adventure out that way later in the year.

Maybe a 2-class A330 3 times a week LGW-DXB and 3 times a week LGW-SSA would neatly exploit new markets for counter-seasonal scheduled leisure traffic while avoiding LHR slot constraints.

The A340-300 or 600 would be a good aircraft for Sao Paulo or Rio.

The A330 model VS uses doesn't have the legs for those journeys.
