Good morning all!

First post, so apologies if this is in the wrong place or I've missed off something important!

I'm flying LGW-LAS mid June and my seat map is available. I've managed to nab window and next to on the left side back (with the stairs up behind us). Any idea of these seats recline at all? I'm not bothered if they don't go as far back as normal, just so the chair's got a little bit of bounce would be good! If they don't, I may change my selection and move forward a bit.

I spoke to a guy on the Flying Club line and he advised as far as he's aware they do, but the photo of I've seen suggests that they possibly don't but it's unclear.

Also, any idea on the price for Lounge entry at Gatwick? The same guy gave me a price rang which isn't overally helpful1!

Thanks in advance!!

Adam

Hi and welcome.

All seats on the a/c have full recline, so those seats will fully recline.

Before the refurb those were our favourite seats (used to be 79A&C) and they reclined fully so I cant think they wouldnt do so now. I would stick with them - you can recline them without feeling guilty about the people behind and it is very quiet there at the back of the cabin. Enjoy the bubble.

That's great! Thanks very much!!

Last time I flew to Vegas with Virgin I had middle of the plane extra leg room seats and the guy in front in the bulkhead seat rocked his seat back as soon as the seatbelt light went off and I felt really penned in and didn't want to put the person behind me in the same situation!

Damn my good nature!

I presume leg room is the same up stairs? It's not an issue, I just like to know as much as possible!

Hi Adam,

I'm soon to book seats on the same trip, can I ask are you PE or standard E as your seat choice seems to be a good one!

Thanks

Another 79A fan here! The seats do recline and I agree that is is more peaceful up there in the bubble. Travelling with friends 20th April to BGI and we have managed to grab the whole back row up there between us. I am in 79C this time but am in 79A on the way home. It is also great to be one of the first of the plane even though you are travelling economy. Less of a queue at immigration too.
