Usually an airbus.

Will probably be the A343s - sorry you'll be stuck with VERA Reel. You may get lucky and get an A346 with the on demand IFE dependent on rotation.

There isn't any difference in the system or content between the cabins on the aircraft.

Lol, so yes the A343s :P

Just to add, it is not all doom and gloom, an A346 may move on over to fill in on occasion as needed and dependant on aircraft rotation - I believe this happened a few times last year.

Just to clarify each of these aircraft have very different IFEs. The A343s have Vera Reel and is a constant stream and not on demand style of IFE. The A346s have Vera On Demand which as the title suggests is fully on demand.

You'll get a clearer idea of which type of aircraft at T-90 days when you can request assignment via Manage My Booking. At OLCI time T-24 hours you'll be pretty much assured of the type, but things do change (see the recent threads about VS19 / VS1) but you won't know the actual aircraft until you step on board.

So if the type becomes a 346 at OLCI, happy days. If it's a 343 then you'll only know what the actual system is when you step on board.

Hi Robs1983 and welcome,

What date are you flying on, and can you get into manage your booking. The seats are released up to the 29th June as i have managed to bag our seats again for our return on this date early this morning. :D

On the vs095 symbol if you click on it, it says the details of you flight and probably what aircraft, ours is showing as an A340-400 but as others have mentioned it could change, (I hope so but am not holding my breath) any thing else you want to know, just ask.

This is a great site for information and I have learnt a lot and saved some money into the bargain. y) Linda

I'm flying to YVR on 16 July and the flight has recently changed from an A343 to a B747-400 on the outward leg.

Huh, did not think the 747 did this route.... in that case, all bets are off robs, could be anything. Just pray for either VERA Touch or VERA On Demand 8D
