Hope someone can help.

I'm planning to book a VH flydrive to Orlando, there will be 4 of us flying.
2 want to travel PE and the other 2 want to travel Economy out and PE back.
I can't find an option on the VH website to do this.
Is it possible, or is it a telephone job.

TIA

Not possible from the website, it likes everyone to be in the same booking class. Will need to give VH a call or pop into one of their 'stores' I am afraid 8D

Thx for that - just a thought.....
If i was to make a booking on the website, would i be able to alter it afterwards? or would this be frowned upon?
I would just prefer to make the initial booking via the website :-)

Lol, looking for miles or 10% off :P

You could initially book 4 economy seats and then call up to upgrade individual pax on a sector basis. You can do this from the website but I think that you have to upgrade all travellers on the booking, calling is best.

Here is a thought.. how about 2 bookings? One for the 2 in PE round trip and the other an economy round trip with the PE upgrades on the inbound? Call VS, get the bookings linked and hopefully you will be all sitting together on the homeward leg. That should be all poss through the website, famous last words :P

Looks like booking 4 economy on website and upgrade on phone is the way forward i think, as doing it as 2 separate bookings would cause issues with merging the car i would assume.

Thanks for the advice.

(miles and 10% are an advantage though definitely :-) )

Not on the face of it as it is an online booking bonus, unless of course you are FC AU. AG and Red get 7% off I believe :P

Happened upon a point though, push as much as you can for a better price. There is always something those agents can do to make the sale :w

I'm rather sceptical about this 10% AU discount as I've often been quoted 'discounted' prices over the phone that are higher than the online price - that said, they'll always then offer to match that when you point out the fact.

Yeh they are a fun bunch to speak to.

Always raising and then lowering prices, blame computer.. reboot, laugh and magically the prices say what is stated online. ii)

Have argued once with them on the whole 10% thing, won't bore you guys with that tale, anyway I usually find it cheaper (and less hassle :P) to book flights with VS direct and then hotels/transfers separately.

TBH I have never found the 10% discount fog Au to be that great.
You seem to get the 10% if you have services from many of the "Virgin" brand companies. When I tell them I have Au, Virgin Media, Virgin Mobile etc, etc they think I am joking when I ask for 40% off, 10% for each company.
I have also found that when they have a sale it is cheaper to go via the website that phone in for your 10%.
The major plus on VH I find is that their upgrade costs can sometimes be very, very low from EC to PE
