Hi!
Thought I'd be a bit different instead of saying hi from the clubhouse, currently waiting for the last stragglers making their way. Not many smiles from the crew but very efficient so far.

I have an allergy to mushrooms and I mentioned this to the premier team telling them I wanted to avoid a special meal second only to the mushrooms, and what have they done? Ordered me a diabetic meal that is "very dry" .... Not a happy bunny!

I used my iPhone as my boarding card which was accepted without question, the raised eyebrow when she read the seat number was a bit disconcerting. I maybe sensitive to this as I've had similar problems in the past as Hamster to travelling in upper with Virgin.

Hi.
Too late to wish you a good flight. I would have liked to have made contact whilst you were onboard as a first for me !Anyway, have a good time !

I got this treatment as I queued for check-in at LHR on Tuesday. Not very happy about it... :(!

Some staff appear to believe that young people or those dressed less formally should not be in the pointy end of a plane!

Not just a VS thing either - not that that is an excuse !

How strange, I'm not old nor do I dress formally for flights and haven't had an issue before even in BA First.. maybe I just smile more sweetly! :-)

Although... depends on your view of formal dress! I'd never fly in anything that isn't comfortable although for short haul hops for a work meeting I do go dressed to attend. Longer haul no way!

I wasn't particularly scruffy in appearance, but I do seem to attract odd looks or questioning behavior from VS staff, mainly because (in my opinion) my age, I always get challenged at Heathrow check in if I am actually in Upper class where as people who are older before or after me don't even get spoken too or just a hello/welcome. This is the first time I've received it off crew, which is unusual.

The rest of the flight was fine(apart from running out of fiz) with regular top ups at my seat, without asking.
