Having a nice easy online check in experience for my outbound flight I grabbed 76A at around 29hrs before departure (think this is common) I forgot to do it today at 29hours and it was saying 'Wheres my seat?'. It wasn't allowing me access to the seat map anymore but just this second checked in and grabbed 76K! Was rather worried as I only had a seat right at the rear of the aircraft originally! I was pretty fast checking in so have a feeling I may have got SEQ1 but don't know how to find out ?|

Also once I land at LHR I'm flying on VS3041 to MAN do I just follow the signs for Flight Connections? What happens then?

Stay tuned for TR's! :D

Only when connecting domestic > international.

There's no way round it going the other way as you have to be immigration checked at the point of arrival into the UK.

I did it, I went and upgraded to Premium Economy and also decided to go into the JFK Clubhouse. $373 for upgrade and lounge access, thought I won't get another chance soon so decided to just upgrade!

Currently enjoying the leak & potato soup! Never been in a clubhouse before is there a self serve bar/food area anywhere in the JFK one?

I love Premium Economy and £245 for upgrade and access is a great deal!

Have never been to JFK Clubhouse so can't answer that one.

Hey Blacky, thanks :) How does it work with food? Do I just get the three course meal and thats it? Or is there more? I'm rather peckish today I haven't eaten much recently :D

The food will be from a menu so you can choose what you want and as much or little as you want.

The JFK Clubhouse menu is here (though I've no idea if that is the current menu or not)

That is the correct one :)

So far I've enjoyed the soup, burger and currently digging into the mousse! So you're saying I can order another burger or soup or whatever?

EDIT: Just answered my own question! The waitress came over and said would you like anything else and you can have as much as you want!

I love this place :D

Haha I don't think I'll be able to afford an upgrade everytime :P Buy upgrading to PE I'll have more miles now too so I'll have around 11000 altogether. Planning a trip back to NY next year so I'll maybe upgrade to PE then too!

And I am most definitely enjoying it, won't be long until I've had everything off the menu :D

On VS46! Flying home on Tubular Belle, then catching VS3041 back to Manchester! Should I look forward to PE? :)

Also is it normal to tip the waiters/waitresses? The one lady has looked after me very well and always checked to see if I'm okay. Would like to tip her!

Looking forward to the TR. I remember my first experience of PE this time last year...caught the bug and had to upgrade the homeward flight too.

PE to Vegas and back to look forward to this summer
