But yes, you can use your Flying Club miles on Little Red domestic flights from LHR.

It's 7,500 miles plus £30 in fees and taxes for a round trip I believe.

Does it haha well that's closer to me which is good! I suppose that's no too bad so 7500 for a return?

Well if VS values one mile at 1.5p, 7,500 plus £30 equals the equivalent of £142.50 for a round trip.

The cash fare is normally around the £100 mark so if you were to buy the miles it wouldn't be a great deal. However if you've got thousands of free miles just sitting there doing nothing, it's as good a way as any of getting rid of them and certainly better value than spending them on a long-haul reward flight - to NYC it's 35,000 miles plus £332, total £857 which is double the cheapest economy fare.

I just tried to book with spend miles on a flight to Edinburgh and it said I cannot book this flight with miles?

Should I call them?

I do have around 60,000 air miles whic I havent used and my dad needs to go up to Scotland so thought by not be generous and let him have mine

The Flying Club helpline number on the back of your card. Or 01293 473800 if, like me, you object to paying through the nose to call an 0800/0870/0844 number on your mobile.
