Playing golf in Dubai

We're heading to Dubai in October for Hubby's 40th and desperately want to have a round of golf whilst we're out there.

I'm quite new to the game, have been playing less than a year. Have been looking at courses on line but its quite daunting.

Does anyone have any recommendations for where to go for a beginner? Not overly worried about the costs involved but will need to hire clubs.

I have taken Aer John to Dubai on a couple of occasionsand he has played a lot of golf there and loved it. The courses are amazing and all of a high standard.

For a beginner, Dubai Creek might be your best bet. The Emirates is the home of the Dubai Classic and may be a bit tougher.

Book tee times via the concierge in the hotel as bookings are handled through a central agency.
