Terrible scenes being shown on the TV - those poor people, how terribly sad. Who ever is responsible for this are wicked cowards.

This happened just around the corner from where I lived for six months.

Shocking pictures. So sad. So cowardly. They are finding secondary devices everywhere.

Whoever did this should absolutely be executed and sentenced to death. Seriously these assholes do not deserve to live .

I do hope death sentence is introduced to each and every country on earth.

On that china and the US, I salute you both !!!

The Virgin crew hotel is only 1 block away from the explosions.
Thankfully all the crew are safe & accounted for, albeit very shook up.
They are in the process of being evacuated to a hotel closer to the airport.

It's very sad. I know that area well. I am back there on Thursday evening.
How people can do this to innocent people is beyond my comprehension.

The VS crew used to stay at the MO, directly opposite the second blast. I expect it was a somber VS12 tonight.

Like London, this is a strong city and the resolve of it's people will get them through the tough days ahead. I hope people are not afraid to visit us.

A terribly cowardice act on a truly beautiful city, stay strong Boston our thoughts are with you.

I see from VS twitter feed over night that the VS12 was delayed overnight

My family have often waited for me at the finishing line over the years when I have competed in local runs & half-marathons. The horror of the runners and their families caught up in this atrocity is unimaginable. Let's hope that is was a 'one-off'.
