As the trip reports for this configuration are still few and far between, thought I'd ask what people's thoughts were on the new PE cabins and which seats they'd choose.

I would choose 17/18 AC, have also flown in 15HK also, and parents in 16HK.
I'm a fan of the AC side myself, and unless your party size dictates, the twos are good, plus being slightly towards the rear of the cabin, you position yourself well for being some of the first people off the a/c but not to far down that you run the risk of ay meal choices running out (although this can happen wherever you are sat to be honest).

I flew back (night flight) in 16K. Perfectly fine for what it was! I didn't choose the seat, was assigned it with no option to change but it was fine.

As Neil said, if you need to be off the aircraft quickly, choose the AC side rather than the HK side.

I'll be travelling back on VS28 on 3/5/13 will be in downstairs PE in HK at the back will let you know how they are.

Unfortunately / fortunately depends how you look at it (for me as long as it's Virgin it don't matter) we have an A333 on the way out so all is good.

14A/C if you can get them - bassinet seats so a case of asking at the airport. Tons of legroom (more than the DEFG ones) and yes, the footrests are now on board.

Otherwise, I'd go for 19A/C so as to effect a quick exit to immigration.

Would like to comment on the bubble, but I got bumped from that last week due to an oversold flight! Luckily I ended up in 14A, so not too unhappy overall...
