Hi All,

I have enough miles to fly upper class return to Miami from London and I wish to use these for the first two weeks of October this year.

I've never spent miles before and am really unsure how it works.

At the moment its saying there are no reward flights. My question is...

Does availability change everyday. Will flight availability come and go and its just a case of checking every day?

Thank you

In theory it can change every day, as revenue management that control the release or reward seats can release some at any time. Of course it doesn't mean any will ever be released as they might have already released some and they have since been booked and the loads are now good that they think they can sell the rest without issue.

It is of course worth checking on a regular basis, but if your dates are set then it is worth having some sort of back up plan as you don't want to get close to the date only to find our no reward seats are released and all the lower fare codes have gone.

There is availability in UC for the return MIA-LHR leg 1st, 6th and 13th Oct available.

Though there is no UC availability LHR-MIA, there is good PE availability - 1st, 6th, 9th and 13th are available.

Often its harder to find UC reward availability for overnight flights but in this case it's the MIA-LHR that is overnight and you'd be in UC so PE out and UC return might be an option for you?

Recently, availability for LHR-MIA has been opening up in the 2 weeks before the flight, there have also been seats in Sep made available this month so it is as the previous reply says worth checking regularly.

You might find my site useful to explore your options - http://www.rewardseats.com.

Perseverance and checking regularly can pay off as happened for me for an upcoming flight to MIA. For days no rewards seats available until checking on Tuesday this week and nabbing a G
