LHR slots...

Delta have forked out a cool $47m for 2 slots at LHR, I wonder if they'll go to serving LHR - JFK and make the JV that much stronger against OneWorld on that route, pure speculation on my part of course....

I think its for LHR-SEA route that is part of the JV with Virgin

Just to be clear, I checked the news in question, and the above amount was spent for the pairs of slots currently in use for the 3rd daily JFK and Atlanta rotations. It is very likely that these came from AF/KL/AZ.

LHR-SEA will only laucnh when the JV is apporved & implemented as per the JV application I posted about a few weeks ago.
