Looking for some more advice.
Im flying VS43 on Sep 12 and wondered what the queues are like in LAS. I was hopeing to get a seat in row 24 but this would result in a delay geting off.
From my understanding there is no other international flights arriving around the same time so i would of thought immigration would be quick enough in T3.

Also how do you link bookings made under different names ?
There is 2 of us in PE under different bookings and then 2 couples in Y
We would like to make sure the the 2 of us in PE get seats together and that the 4 in Y are together aswell.

I can't answer the LAS question I am afraid as never flown in there directly, but sure someone will be along to help.

Regarding linking bookings, you just need to call VS and ask them to link the bookings. It doesn't do that much in all honesty, but at least highlights you aren't travelling alone. Your best way to try and ensure your parties get seats together is to a) request some as soon as the seat map opens at T-90 days (check a few hours before as it sometimes opens slightly early) and then also do the same when OLCI opens at T-24 hours.

From feedback the new terminal make things a lot better.
I know from personal experience the old terminal could be a nightmare if you had a couple of flights land at the same time.
I will find out personally in 4 weeks :) so will let you know.
Pretty sure others have already used this new facility and will let you know more.

My wife and I flew UC to LAS last year and due to the layout of the plane PE disembarks before UC but we got through immigration very quickly and had to wait for our bags at the Carousel.
As for trying to sit together I would select your preferred seats at the 90 day mark and check them frequently then use OLCI at T minus 24 to do the best you can, I have never had my seat moved to date.
Enjoy all Las Vegas has to offer.

I flew to LAS in February. We were sat in row 24. There was a bit of a delay getting downstairs so we walked faster than normal to get to immigration asap. We still had to queue almost an hour. Our flight was an hour late, so don't know if there were other flights still in the hall. Less than half the immigration desks were open but they did open more.
I would definitely recommend row 24 though. quiet and no recline guilt :D

Hi Stealth,
T3 queues are improving slowly, but at least being PE 24 you will be one of the first pax off after UC/ PE down stairs and then bubble EC pax. I do hope that the CC hold back the rest of the EC pax downstairs for you as they haven't for me on recent trips when I've been in the bubble v(

Immigration queues shouldn't be too bad but I still feel that they are slower than the old T2 but that's just my opinion. One thing thats definitely slower ( yes the D word) is baggage reclaim, in the last 12 months I've travelled UC, PE & EC and always waited longer than normal to retrieve said baggage.

Enjoy our trip and hey might even see you there in Sept, going 12th for a week y)

There is some German charter that gets in just behind the LAS flight - if the VA LAS flight is slightly late then you get stuck behind ze Germans. Just play spot the dodgy tache and white socks to amuse yourself.

Maybe we could make a 'LAS German Spotter' League table exclusively for V Fyer's who spot the most in the immigration queue and are awarded prizes from our sponsors (V Flyer)such as luggage tags ? :)
