As i was starting to pack today for my 3.5 week holiday to Florida on Sunday, i got a call from a nice woman called Sarah, giving me the big push to buy a couple of Lounge invites, which she sold to me very well, and i duely paid straight away,as this may be the last time i get to go to FL for a while, and i thought why not get a little extra perk, aswell as flying PE (cant afford UC!)...but what i want to ask is....Is it worth the £20 price tag(per person)?
What are peoples reviews on it like?
Food good?
Quiet?
Can i still get duty free etc once in the Lounge?(can i leave and get back in to get it)

Lounges are worth it in my opinion although some better than others. For the money I think the V room is worthwhile if you are going to use it to eat drink and chill. Often depends on time of year as can be a little hectic in school times. Usually not as good as lounges for UC passengers but all different.

As to duty free etc, yes, when you are registered you can usually come and go but certainly best to make reception aware you are off out and will return.

Yes I think the V-room is worth the money, it hasn't gone up for quite a while, it was that price 2 years ago when i last went.

Having just been from Stansted last week, we had a breakfast and drink each and that was £20. SO i believe you are getting at least twice the value, in a nice private area, where all of you had to have booked with VH, free internet and large screen tv. Breakfast, to fill your boots with cereal, fruit and bacon rolls and you can keep going for more, juice and hot drinks. The only thing is anything from the bar is extra. :D

I would say its great, when its quiet. We arrived as it just opened early in the morning and it was fantastic. However, by 9.00am it was absolutely 'heaving', and anything but relaxing. They were actually queuing down the corridor to get in and looked way overbooked to me. I would recommend checking whether there are many flights due out before yours and try and gauge how full it might be when you arrive.

I agree with those that think it is worth it ^) Have not used it for a couple of years but good plentiful food and drink with a relaxed atmosphere and great views y) y)
