Hello Everyone,

I am flying to Los Angeles on Monday (Upper Class) and I was initially going to take 1 suitcase however I have now admitted to myself that I need an extra suitcase with all the shopping I plan to do in LA. :| I don't see the point in buying an extra suitcase in LA when I have suitcases in London so I was wondering, will Virgin let me check in an empty suitcase? Or do I put the half packed one into the empty one? I know I have an allowance of three suitcases but I just wondering if anyone has done this before? Has any information?
Any help will be appreciated.

Hello!

I had this problem when visiting Orlando UC so I usually put items inside like towels. So I would maybe put a few things inside and that way it's not empty

You can do either. I've done both before but feel more comfortable putting the smaller one into the large so it doesn't get bent out of shape. Or at times I buy a really cheap one - but that's only when I go crazy in the shops - and it's usually the 3rd

Thanks a lot Guys. I think I'm going to put the smaller bag in the bigger one. Seems like thats the way most people go. Thanks for the help.

Just the one? Come on you need to try harder than that ! You're mixing with some heavy shoppers on V-Flyer ! :o) :o)

But I generally split my luggage across both cases so two lighter ones rather than a heavy one !
