I got an email from VS with the above subject. I'm not sure why I got the email from VS after I booked my ticket. I thought it was a random email until I finally read the email in the 15 minutes of down time I had this morning, it says that they've invested a lot into making sure my New York journey is the best ever...

So now I'm wondering if it is indeed a general email or something that gets triggered when booking a flight to NY. Or maybe it's just a ploy to get me to upgrade from Economy to Upper Class.

There was an email that did the rounds a few weeks back detailing the 'benefits' of flying UC to NYC.. very picture heavy and made the entire thing very appealing.. until you got to the price of said experience :P They were quoting for fully flex J fares in the promotion.

How much was this email quoting you fly UC for?

That explains it then. The message in that area was "Your Upper Class to NYC, upgraded from start to finish. Fares start from $4,899"
