I have pre-booked 2 exit row seats from Gatwick to Vegas. I realised I would not be able to print my boarding card as Virgin have to actually see us at the airport to check we are both physically fit but I expected to be able to still check in on line. Virgin tell me I cannot do so but have to check in at the airport although they say they have a dedicated check in for exit row passengers. I have never seen this so has anyone used it and did you get your exit row seats okay?

I have never seen a dedicated check-in for exit row passengers either.

And you may be able to check in online at T-24 (I was) - however you won't be allocated seats until they see you at the airport and are passed as suitable.

They normally send an email (separate to the auto-generated e-ticket) to confirm you've bought an exit row seat. As long as you have that there shouldn't be an issue.

Assuming you're on a 747 I recommend asking for seats 25B & C - you're first to be served and literally first off the plane as you're next to the main exit door

Thanks for the reply. I have the e-mail confirming the exit row seats which I will take with me. I will try and check in on line and see if it will allow me to do it. If I manage to do so do I just go to the bag drop in the normal way and show them the confirmation email?
