Rather a dull article and not really news, yes a shuttle like service might appeal in terms of flight timing but since both are now at T4 that's non news ... And since DL is in T4B and VS in T4A there will not be any sharing of lounges unless you're on a flight in the respective part of T4 - separate security and all that.

My wish list is for VS flights at 7, 8, and 10 pm rather than the current timings. DL is great but I still wouldn't fly them transatlantic unless there was no other option.

I have read it twice and I still don't know what it is supposed to say !

I think it's a poorly written article. I very much doubt if VS will move part of their operation to T4 when a massive push has been made to connecting pax from our India and Africa flights onto our EWR and JFK.

Slinky I thought security was now just behind the check in desks where the old clubhouse was, meaning once you're through you can access T4A and B or am I getting confused, I haven't operated out of JFK for a while.

They have updated the article and clarified it's talking about a shuttle from "New York's JFK T4 and London Heathrow Terminal 3"

PS I write this from the relative comfort of the new lounge at Las Vegas in the new Terminal 3 here at LAS - appropriately called "The Club at LAS".
Its not bad, a typical US shared lounge with a bar and nibbles. Its right opposite gate 2 where my flight VS44 is waiting.

I don't understand it either, despite what has just been posted. What do they mean by shuttle service?

? That doesn't seem so different from the normal timings (give or take the odd 30 minutes)? Unless I'm missing something?! ?|

So they updated the article to specify LHR T3 which means all the ugly, fat and badly tartan dressed US DL fliers :P will crowd the Clubhouse. Boo sucks.

Just checked, so yes there is a central security checkpoint behind the main check in area. Once through all passengers have access to the numerous food vendors/large duty free shop etc that used to be classed as landslide and is now 'airside' including access to both piers and all lounges. y)

Boo sucks indeed.

And at JFK VS & DL pax will have the choice of having a lovely free meal and spa treatment in the VS CH or paying for a meal in the DL Skylounge.

I mean please.
