Seems VS is downsizing.

Seems strange to spend all that money on refurbishing a plane, then have it parked up for the summer - still, I suppose there is a reason behind it. Not something an airline full to capacity and seeking to expand would do I wouldn't have thought..

Presumably these 2 extra are the ones that will ocver for the 2 x 346's that leave next year.

I guess it makes sense to fly the 330 with a premium config if it is more profitable than flying a half full 747.

You are exactly right. Plus the routes require more Upperclass.

I don't agree that they are getting smaller. Simply shifting the focus from mainly economy on the Caribbean routes to the more lucrative Premium traffic. Ie instead of 42 (3x14) Upperclass seats a week to Antigua they will now have 132 (4x33)!!

It is more likely we just need to update our a/c seat map database. G-VINE hasn't been in 3 class config for long and we must have missed it returning.

Shame to see that the 747's won't be going to ANU, the refits really made a difference, although I have just booked for ANU next Easter and was able to use miles (at long last!) as there were some UC reward seats available, even the published prices look pretty good at the moment.

G-VINE is the only A330 working the BGI route 6 days a week if this aircraft go's tech will it be and LHR A330 or a LHR 747 to take it's place because of the amount of UC seats on the 3 class A330

Hi, new here.

I've just booked LGW-BGI at short notice for next month and used miles to upgrade to UC which with this amount of time to go is great! If this is the result of a focus on premium seats then it works for me...

I've never flown UC before (Club on occasion - sorry), anyone got a seat recommendation for these 3 class A333s?

,i asked this in may as am flying to Barbados in September in UC so it looks like if the aircraft go's tech and you are in UC you get PE or E or BA

Well G-VINE has gone tech and instead or borrowing a LHR plane they've used a 2-class A330, which seems to have (rightly) upset a lot of UC passengers.

After being on very full flights from Glasgow I'd say it was needed. Indeed a jumbo has operated the last 8 sectors GLA-MCO
