Las Vegas club lounge

Hi all
Flying out of Las Vegas in a month or so with family in uc. Is the club lounge worth a visit for a couple of hours or not worth the bother. If it gets busy I'd probably give it a miss. Flight leaves about 5.00pm. I know it's small and shared with other airlines. Any info much appreciated

We were there in July last year. It's ok soup, sandwiches and crisps were available and what I remember a full bar. Personally I wouldn't go to early but felt it was better than waiting in the departure lounge.

Is there an option to book this on their website? I'm there in a couple of weeks and wouldn't mind waiting in there instead of departures as its a bit dull!!

From this it sounds like you can just rock up on the day and pay to get in.

Cheers for info. Probably just go for quick drink. Shame no dedicated virgin clubhouse here. I thought the one at JFK was fab.

With only one VS flight on 5 out of 7 days, with only 14 UC seats, it wouldn't be viable.

I was in here last Sunday - it was ok for a couple of hours and certainly better than the departure lounge, a full bar including bubbles, sandwiches, cheese/crackers, soup, crisps, cookies and very friendly and attentive staff.

I have used this a couple of times and as stated it is nothing like a 'proper' Virgin Clubhouse. It is convenient to the gates usually used and there is a calm and relaxing atmosphere once past the pleasant guards on the reception.
Food offerings are pretty limited, you choose from an illustrated card, but ok. Alcohol is from the bar but coffee and some snacks are self serve. Finding a seat and quiet area has never been a problem.
Would I pay for the privilege? Not sure! The terminal is new and airy with plenty of f&b outlets, shops and, of course, slot machines. It has also the advantage of a view to the outside, the Lounge has no windows (like the casinos).
As I am lucky enough to have Gold Card I have enjoyed complementary access, if this expires I think I would save the entrance fee to spend elsewhere .

Errr, no; there is a decent pub almost directly opposite and a couple of beers can be refreshing before the flight. The lounge is quiet but, can hardly be described as First Class, it is much more fun in the pub, which is almost directly opposite the Gate.

You may want to read my previous post about my LAS Otis Spunkmeyer Banana Nut Muffin, obtained from the lounge 3.25 years ago, and showing no visible sign of decay.

Well, at web only access of $19.99, three drinks in the bar opposite would get you free drinks in the lounge...

A 20 quid for a lounge access in the uk isn't that great (though prices heading towards a fiver a drink, becoming more viable), but $20 vs $7-8 a drink in a US airport, well, that's a bit better.

I might be letting my amex platinum business expire having been turned away from the Eurostar lounge at Paris (one of the "same benefits as the personal platinum" which wasn't the same). So my twice a year Priority pass might be dropped, and I'd be using that lounge paid...

Certainly no illustrated card last week when I was there and everything is self serve other than the bar. It's close the gates for sure and just wish if had windows. I agree the terminal is fresh and does have a good few food/drink outlets.

If I was not a Au holder, I am not sure I would pay extra to access but its a quiet space to spend a couple of hrs.

I'm an Au holder and flying Upper to Vegas on business. My partner is coming, but is down the back in Y. Can they enter the lounge as a 'guest' as is the case in the Clubhouses?

You have a very understanding partner who is prepared to sit at the back while you are sipping bubbly at the pointy end, not sure I would be confident enough to risk that, maybe I need to reconsider my relationship ha ha. On a flight to Chicago last week we got chatting to a chap at the bar & a couple of times he nipped down to the back with a glass of bubbly for his partner.
