Going to Las Vegas in a month or so on virgin then connecting to Honolulu with Hawaiian airlines. Wondered if anyone has any experience of them. Only flying economy on this leg. Do they provide any food and drink on board as I've heard most internal us carriers provide pretty basic service. Any info much appreciated . Cheers

Yes there is actually - interisland hopping isn't difficult to arrange even on a day basis :) . Hope you've hired a car - there's not a lot in the surrounding area :).

I did this exact journey from
Las Vegas in 2010. It was all booked via Virgin. Hawaiian airlines were wonderfuL, very comfortable and polite. I was in economy. The flight was just over 6 hours. I shall try to edit this post with some images of the meal later this evening - it was lovely and looked very pleasant too.

Have heard good things about the airline and flew with them 10 years ago for our honeymoon :)
