Thanks for the info on the rides

I had heard about the coaster that got turned down, sounded a bit extreme to be honest, not shy of thrill rides but a 700ft drop is a bit much

Kong sounds like it could be fun if it ever happens

Oh well it looks like it`s the Borg Experience for me then!

Roll on Jan 7th!

That coaster down the side of the Strat sounds fantastic!
Surely if you're living that close to the strip you should be aware that you're going to have to live with noise, spoilsports [}:)]

Would be good to do a Vegas V-flyer trip again sometime. Even though we were only on the mini one it was good fun to meet the people we did.

Yep that's what he was talking about and he did mention that he lived close to the strat an could hear the screames from the rides.

When Ginette, Pete and I walked back to the Strat from the monorail station on the last night, we could also hear the screams from the rides at the top of the tower, just as well this was after we'd already been up there a few days earlier [:0]

I was watching the news footage in Vegas showing X-Scream stuck hanging over the edge of the Stratosphere - it makes me ill just thinking about it.[:$]

If you want an adrenaline rush - go on Speed at the Sahara instead[:X]
