With the big changes happening at VS after the JV has been approved, lets have a fun thread with some wishes, rumours and desires for some new routes.

I'll start by wishing for a NYC departure from Scotland, preferably EDI. Seasonal, and a couple of days a week would do for starters :D

Anyone else?

Singapore.

Little Red to Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Paris, Lisbon and Madrid so can remain loyal to VS and stop collecting AVIOS. Sharing the same terminal with long haul virgin flights would also be nice though suspect that has some practicality issues.

Oh and less embarrassing UC amenity kit... surely Delta has a better offering than VS.

Amenity kit - ditto ! I didn't realise the current UC one was meant to be an iPad case lol I thought it was a bit raggy

Reno NV would be good for my trips to Lake Tahoe CA.

What? You don't like getting off a delayed SF flight and driving straight there? xx( Got to say that is one killer drive I am not in a hurry to do again.

Denver would be great for the Rockies though!

Haha, having done that drive twice a year for 11 years I can safely say I'm over it particularly in the Winter with all the snow controls once Caltrans shut HWY 50 from Pollock Pines through to Lake Tahoe and HWY 80 too so we had to spend the night in the back of our 4WD in the Safeway parking lot (not fun) 18 hours from SFO to South Lake Tahoe.

The Rockies would be fun.

Little Red from CWL to LHR. It would save the long drive up the M4. The Welsh Assembly are think about dropping APD from Cardiff Airport. So please VS give it some thought!

VS adopting an inclusive of surcharge reward booking.......yeah right!
Singapore/ Thailand
Rio?? Can't see it myself. Although would be great.
NYC to MAN again unlikely..
NYC to Glasgow, even less so...unless a VH charter..

None of the above will happen but we may get yet another LHR to East coast USA flight to an existing destination... And associated fanfare...

Perhaps NYC-MAN could work with a DL 757?

I'd like to see all VS flights in 1 LHR terminal whether it is T4 or T3 I don't care... I am sure there is enough room to relocate to T4 and provide a drive through check in etc... and if it is part of a terminal shuffle they could probably make BAA pay for it too!.

Seattle, Singapore and Toronto would be great for me.

That UC amenity kit gets an end of term report: "Could do so much better".

Decent UC amenity kit.
Freedom dining
T10
Polos
Purple boarding pass

Also as they now sold Threesixty, a reverse herringbone UC seat. Or a First Class ;-)

Given that VS has leased aircraft to VS for Little Red, having those routes extended to include Cork and Dublin :w

Routes to Seattle and Singapore for starters and possibly Rio

Decent amenity kits in all cabins

I'd second a Scottish service. Delta done it before from EDI and I'm sure VS could utilise their brand and DLs HUB at JFK really well to make it a good seasonal operation at least. It's a wish haha but feasible to an extent :)

I agree. Except what are T10s?

Maybe this is for another thread but when I looked on BA, the difference between 1st class and CW didn't seem enough to justify the extra cost-freedom menu, extra 6" on the bed and better wine or and somewhere to hang you jacket. But for double the price of CW?

Anyway if VS were to do a first class I would hope it would be more like suites. That would be awesome.
And I would love 'order the cook'

T10 = Tanqueray #10 = Gin !

Comes in a green bottle and not to be confused with a lesser gin make also in a green bottle.

*sighing wistfully*

Ah, yes, T10 - how could I have been so remiss not to have included you in my wish-list. How well I remember the flight to SFO after it had been discontinued (and replaced with a vodka!! :0 ) and a half-full bottle had been found in the bar. No guessing who finished it off :o)
