Maybe this is for another thread but when I looked on BA, the difference between 1st class and CW didn't seem enough to justify the extra cost-freedom menu, extra 6" on the bed and better wine or and somewhere to hang you jacket. But for double the price of CW?

Intersting, I have only traveled F on BA longhaul, CW doesn't appeal to me (apart from maybe LCYCW). The service in F is amazing, and the seat has lots of room (and proper armrests!). Price wise, at normal prices, yes it is a bit much, but a nice sale price, or using miles (outright or upgrading CW) makes it very attractive to me. Earning 2.5 avios per £ and 10% off tickets with BMI card makes it very attractive, so does my BAPP Amex with the companion voucher.

I really hope for flights to Nice, Cote d'Azur. I'm kind of fed up with long haul now, and need a good excuse to get rid of a bunch of miles. Plus, Monaco/St Tropez really suit the Virgin image. And of course...the grand prix...

By the way, they did announce NCE flights last November when they lost Moscow, so my choice may win! ;-P

Absolutely agree with TPA but as BA already cover it felt it was unlikely VS would compete there so I opted for RSW which is a really nice airport with easy access and would form a nice triangle with MIA and MCO.

Would love to see the second daily HKG flight, VS238, reinstated.

From a purely personal point of view, it may increase my chances of grabbing a G upgrade on that route!

Yes but sadly they are being phased out as the fleet is repainted in the latest style - all of them used to and I, like many, like them and wish they stayed.

I'd like to see Rio or Buenas Aires added to the route network - VS has had traffic rights to Brazil for a long time. But concur on tray of items back in UC, square pillows and proper pork pies on the menu - plus bring back Freedom!

I didnt even realise the freedom menu had been stopped :0 they should really bring it back.

I would really like to see an actual first class cabin on the long haul destinations.

Simple wishes here:
- a website/booking engine that is fit for purpose in the 21st century.
- get used to the idea that people want/need to book indirect flights and make it easier for them.
- sharpening up of customer service and ground staff, including actually following the rules on EU261/2004 by proactively offering compensation where due.
- all-AVOD fleet
- empower the cabin crew to deliver the service to the standards that I believe that the overwhelming majority want to.

A direct flight to Nashville. Delta used to do one back in day, not enough takers. With Virgin holidays and lots of UK tourists now there due to the TV program/growth - VS may be the answer where DL couldn't be.

Okay, its just a hope. Don't we all prefer Direct flights!

Totally... I saw a snippet somewhere that VS/DL may look at using some of the DL technologies going forward... would be a welcome step in the right direction! Especially booking partner rewards online.

Well that will be the case at the end of next year when the 787's finally arrive and first replace the remaining 343's.

Hopefully the new CEO who I believe is very front line focussed will deliver this - but we can only really tell what his strategy is in about a year. It took the Virgin Aus CEO about 18 months for his intentions to be known/started to be implemented (of which all were for the better). Getting rid of the wridgeway 360 aeropsace/raynard seating company masqauerade is a good starting point - as is clearing out of some of the old VS directors... fresh blood - fresh plan.

Err, no. Internal business units are perfectly entitled to charge other internal business units for their time/services etc.

Money laundering is hiding the source of money obtained through crime and making it 'clean'.

For me would love little red to cover more of Europe. My main wish is for AG to have guaranteed paid access to clubhouse regardless of cabin and be able to book either via phone or online.

* Little Red from GLA to either LHR or LGW (or codeshare/thru ticketing with EasyJet)
* The VS website having a continuous look and feel (currently fancy front page bolted in front of older website)
* Fare check working from mobile/iPhone website (has been "coming soon" for about a year and the full website difficult to use on iPhone)

Not really! I used Book the Cook when I flew on SQ last year but when it came to the flight I rather wished that I had waited and picked what was on the menu. It's hard to know which of the choices to pick far in advance. ?|

As to the crumble - Book the Cook is only for main courses.

As you can see there is a set menu that you can preorder off of, depending on where you are departing from.

Looks like the crumble will be that bonus that really makes a flight the best for you one day
