Hi

Is this usual with VA. Just checked in for my flight tomorrow to Cancun and had pre-booked seats 19A and 19C and have now been changed to the bubble. I know they say that they are not definite, but why??? I purposly did not want to sit in the bubble especially on the way out as you are now last to exit.

Do you think I will be able to change them at the airport when I get there??? Any help would be appreciated.

is it possible that the A/C type has changed?

As has been said many, many times you don't book seats with Virgin Atlantic you [request them.

The requests are usually honoured, but frequently passengers are moved. Sometimes it is because of equipment changes, sometimes it is to accommodate family groups and sometimes it seems to be 'just because they can'. B)

Enjoy your flight, don't let the hiccup get you down - also, see if you can swap them at the airport.

Just to clarify, the bubble don't exit last, they are let off at the same time as the UC and downstairs PE Cabin, but obviously there are the upstairs Y pax who will likely be ahead, so a few more people ahead of you.

I do understand the frustration though... 19A/C would definitely be my seats of choice for a quick exit on the outbound, especially when immigration queues are common (not sure about Cancun, but they certainly build up in other Caribbean locations).
