SQ and who? Jesus what is it with today's journalists? It is QANTAS as its an acronym - Queensland And Northern Territory Aerial Service.

Heathens. I think I may have to send the grammar police (aka Decker) in their direction. [:p]

Thanks,
Richard

Is thier a pedants' police? They may have to be called, but for whom I am not sure.

As QUANTAS appear quiet happy to use Quantas. See http://www.quantas.com.au. I think both might be legitimately used.

Not really...

quantas.com.au actually redirects to qantas.com.au

They've only registered it to catch those that spell it incorrectly (many companies do it).

I thought that was a company that fixed TV's and did satellite dishes.

I think DWiles was refering to the Upper/Lower case usage of the name, as opposed to the spelling. But you're right also, that 'u' so often gets inserted (DWiles as an example ;)) that Qantas have to accept their customers will use it in their URL.
