Meals on Gatwick to Vegas route

We are flying to Vegas in a couple of weeks from Gatwick, and have been informed by a friend that uses the route on a regular basis that the in flight meals have been cut quite considerably.

Could anyone confirm or negate this please, and maybe highlight what meals are available on this route?

The meals are certainly smaller than they were a few years back but I can only speak on behalf of economy. I haven't flown to LAS since 2010 but I did fly to Barbados in April and if I recall correctly I received my little pretzel packet followed by my main meal - the actual meal was much smaller than before but it really didn't feel too bad. I can't recall what else they gave us but there was a skinny cow ice cream or something!
