Just checked in for my VS3042/VS45 flight tomorrow. Spot the deliberate mistake:

(i'll give you a clue - the seat number is the only correct thing for a LHR B744)

It should yes....apparently after speaking to VS, I am indeed in Upper, it's just that my boarding card doesn't say it :(

Well, at least VS Exec Office have just rung me to apologise for this and have again confirmed that I am in Upper Class.

I would go to the desk at the airport to get a 'proper' paper boarding pass saying UC, otherwise someone might stop you going down the private channel and into the CH.

That's what Exec office recommended as well, but if mobile boarding passes are showing it, I can't see any reason why airport printed boarding passes wont say the same thing anyway as the info is coming from the same place?

The booking starts at MAN on the VS3042 (which is SEQ 1 :w ) so I'll staying airside at LHR anyway as VS take you straight from T1 to airside T3 when connecting Domestic>International.

I will not be impressed if I do get stopped anyway along the way though because of this :(!

Exec office did say the website team may be able to re-issue the boarding pass between now and tomorrow anyway and if so it would be emailed to me.

So if anyone else wants to use the Upper Class fast track security tomorrow, just take a copy of the barcode and try scanning at the door. :D

Hi Mitchja
Will be interesting indeed if you get stopped for having the "wrong" boarding pass.
But if Exec Office called you I am pretty sure they are on it.

I hope you took the opportunity to air any 'feedback' to the Exec Team which you may have on the VS website and IT function.

I was already in discussion with the Exec team regarding the ongoing Virgin Little Red 'not been able to change your seat after initially selecting them' issue that has been in bookings since VS launched their VLR service, this is just the icing on the cake as far as I'm concerned :(!

My booking does have this issue as after initially selecting my seats on all 4 flight legs when I made the booking, I've been unable to change the seats of the first flight of both my flight legs (the outbound VS3042 and the return VS26)

I'd already been promised that there would be no issues with this booking - how wrong could VS be!!!

BTW, the VLR seat changing issue is apparently due to be fixed later next month :w

You don't have much luck with VS IT do you... seem to remember you being the only one that couldn't do OLCI for the inaugural, and then not being able to use the SSCI machine either!
