Hi all

Just checking our flight details for the LAX-HNL-OGG leg of our holiday and the first flight time has changed to an 30 mins later which has reduced our transfer time at HNL to 60 mins.
For those that have done this journey will this allow us enough time to get onto the flight to OGG? more importantly will our luggage make it ?!?
Both flights booked directly with Hawaiian Airlines.

Am panicking for no reason I hope !

Thanks
:o)

Are both flights booked on the same ticket? If so there shouldn't be a problem.

Even if they're separate I'd have thought you'll be ok - the American hub & spoke system often depends on tight connections and as you're connecting between internal flights on the same airline at a relatively small airport it should be fine.

The flights to OGG are frequent from HNL- we were offered a HA credit to take a flight that was 40 mins later than our original one. If your bags are interlined from LAX that shouldn't be a problem and HNL isn't a massive airport to navigate :)
A word of warning- HA are now pretty strict with baggage allowances!!! ( but they're a great airline even in Y :0 ).
Stop panicking :) .

Thanks both :)
Yes both on same booking so will have a chat with the agent at LAX to make sure we are covered if there is a delay.
DL - we are making do with Y too :-/ , will keep a close eye on how many shoes I pack, cannot really take advatantage of the UC baggage allowance when you have onward flights !

Just make sure the bags are tagged through to OGG at LAX.
You can buy plenty of bags as your allowance but they are rigid with the 23kgs per bag IME :0 .
Have a great time .
