which aircraft VS075 ?

hi all
i was just wondering if anyone knows what aircraft will be doing the vs 75 route in oct 2013, if it's an airbus or a 747.
the manage my booking page on virgin atlantic is not currently showing the plane config so i have no idea

Think the route is changing to 747s but not sure exactly when.

Do you have a date in mind? It's showing an A333 for 9 October for example - but operationally things can quickly change.

sometimes my MMB has days when it doesnt show any config so keep checking.

According the which aircraft tool it is most likely to be an A330. G-VKSS or G-VSXY.

That is just historic data though. As mentioned above, MAN is changing to 2 x 747's from 1 x A330 & 1 x 747 from the winter season, so using historic data won't help the OP.

If the OP can let us have the dates, you will be able to try and new booking on the VS site and it should show the a/c config there.

Showing as an A330 but with UC available. So either a re- configured A330 or a 747.

Still no wiser really!

Manage my booking is working for Nov, just booked two 747 UC seats on that fight, they were released this morning for our flight..

Since afaik there is only a330 in 3 cabin layout I suspect you will be on a 747.

SXY and KSS are being reconfigured to the 3 class config.

I am on this flight on 14th Sept. When I try another booking it is showing a 747, however, on my 'Manage my booking' it shows a 330 and to confuse things even more, the seat map is a 747.

I called FC and they confirmed a 747. If this is any different on the 14th I will let you know.

Indeed they are but I don't know when exactly.

Also flying on VS75 on the 9th October and have booked 3 seats in UC and its a A330 in manage my booking so looks like it will be a newly configured 3 class

Im booked sept 22 its defo 747 as im booked in upper.
As far as i know there is no upper class on the airbus.

I am on the VS075 on 2nd October & it shows an airbus, i hope it does have UC as i have paid for 3 seats in it.

I'm returning on VS76 on 30th September in UC and through MMB it is showing a three class A330 :w

looks like an a330 then

I am on 9th Oct, when I telephoned they assured me it was indeed a 3 config A330. Its filling up now so lets hope so.
