So I checked in but had to remind the check in agent about the Au fast-track sticker and the invite for the lounge.......such a stark difference to the Servisair team at MAN.
Security was a breeze and I was in the servisair lounge by 315pm. The lounge is basic as we know and it was really quiet, so helped myself to a drink and a light snack.
By 415pm I had enough and was off and walked down to the gate. I sat and watched the landing aircraft by Costa which is a real treat.
Boarding was called at 450pm and priority boarding was in operation. It was the same crew as my southbound flight the day before, with a different senior crew member who welcomed me by name and I was seated in 19F quickly.
This was a busy flight with a load of 91 and we had to wait a while for 20 passengers from the NRT flight. They boarded around 520pm and we pushed back at 532pm. A rather long taxi and we were airborne at 559pm, so rather late.
The trolleys were soon out with drinks and snacks, though the Bronte cookies were back on board

By 625pm we were in the final descent and lovehearts were offered and we touched down at 632pm, reaching the gate a few minutes later....just in time to see the BA touchdown behind us.
The bags were out quickly and I was on the train heading back to Yorkshire without any delays.
Another great LR flight and great to see a very healthy load. Shame about the mediocre check in experience
