What Happened To The Day of The Real Deal?

3 years ago I flew Economy from LHR to MIA for £295 return all in and upgraded online both ways to Premium Economy for only £50 for both legs. BARGAIN.

The following year I flew UC return on the same route for £1000, I did the same last year too. This was just a sale price return ticket.

First off these are amazing prices... last time I paid for an UC ticket for about £1000 was 2006! Granted I don't pay full whack most of the time anyway, but still, it has been a while since fares like that have come along. The ECO and PE upgrade are also amazing prices.. ahh remember them fondly

Short answer, sales come around at random intervals and usually when a competitor (mostly BA) are having one too. I wouldn't expect prices that low again, but you never know... fingers crossed you find the fares you are looking for y)

Just spotted 1900pound UC deals for Vegas returns. So seems like it's about to happen

Am I allowed to ask what are the cheapest UC fares anyone ever saw to Tokyo? Just curious.

Seeing some great UC fares to MCO (£1690).......things are happening!!!

Of course you are, knowledge is power my friend so ask away.. just had a little gander in my email file of e-tickets and have found £1498.67 for a 'Z' fare to NRT back in 2010 - can't imagine seeing a price like that in the foreseeable future though ii)

If you are talking G fares though, that will be a different story - think you'll have enough mileage?

The 25th birthday fares weren't too bad

Though the 2012 sale fares were good, £1006 to some places.

That fare is amazing!! wow!!! yeah I dont think there will be Z fares like that for a while.
In terms of Gs, have enough for upgrades from PE (missed out on miles booster last time due to that old chestnut called money issues lol)
