I need 4TPs before the end of November to achieve FC Gold and I'm flying UC in the last week of November. The question is this; will the 5 TPs (UC) immediately tip is into Gold, meaning we will have Gold benefits for the return flight, which is currently in PE or is there a delay in processing, meaning we will not be recognised as Gold for our return flight 4 days later? Obviously, we will not have the new membership cards but I hope the system will show us as being Gold - any advice greatly appreciated!!

It should show up on your FC account as soon as your miles and TPs are posted. This is usually immediately after the flight but if they don't then use the Claim Missing Miles function which should then show you as achieving Gold. Just print out a screenshot of that page just in case there's any hassle at check in but there shouldn't be. It's a relatively regular occurrence that people achieve Gold on an outbound flight and need Au privileges for the return flight. |:)

I have the same situation in December. The helpful agent at Flying Club told me if there was any issue to have the staff at the clubhouse call FC to confirm the status. Screenshot sounds like a great idea though - hadn't thought of that HL!

Interestingly I still haven't received my silver card or pack. Maybe I will be gold before it arrives! Lol.

The other thing to do is update your FC number in your online booking for your return flight as this won't happen automatically, that way staff can see your AU status from your new 009 FC number.

My AG renewal pack was supposed to be due by the end of July, but I earned AU before it arrived, my AU pack arrived about 7 days later. My AG pack never did turn up!!

Perhaps they take a look at the account and figure that if you will be reaching AU soon, why bother sending out an AG pack...

Watch your TPs too.

I earned AU at the end of Aug on one of the sectors for a two sector VS prefixed booking. The CHI->LHR sector put me into AU; my status changed and the TPs posted. But the same day connecting sector (LHR->EWR) did not post 5 TPs to my account toward AU renewal; although the miles did.
