Nearing the end of my free amex gold year and tbh not really seeing it as worth paying for, as there are no offers that I can take advantage of.

I believe this is a targeted offer. I didn't receive email but instead contacted Amex via their secure messaging site and asked why I now don't receive these offers (I did in the past)

Got a great response in a couple of hours to say they don't understand why I'm not getting offers but have manually enrolled me for this offer y) and to wait 5 days before doing any transfer.

Subsequently got another message to say everything was set up and to transfer anytime, which I have this morning.

I believe bonus miles will post by 11th October so will wait and see but looks good so far (couple of messages saved )

So if no emails, and a stack of Amex points, it might be worth asking.

My email offer was for 30% bonus on VS miles conversion valid until end Sept.
