Well, there was some debate about this beforehand as to whether the reported provision of tablets to UC (and PE passengers) on A343s...

I can confirm from Tuesdays flight from Vancouver that they still do this with UC (god, loop is really limited, 9 movies, and none of the ones you expect, like no new Star Trek). However, the tablet was loaded up with pretty ancient films, most of which were on the JAM IFE from heathrow a year ago when I flew. Brave, for instance (though that one was on for months).

I did manage to find the one "Safety not guaranteed" which I was looking for, but it did seem pretty strange to be so out of date...

So good news and bad news for people flying on 343s...

they were not offered when i flew UC on the a340 300 from lax to lhr a few weeks ago. i did spot a trolley stowed with a large 'IFE' logo on it though, presume it was holding the galaxy tabs. would've asked but it was a night flight so i slept!
