I was issued a boarding pass and then given directions to the Clubhouse and also the premium security channel. Security was quick, so a quick scout off duty-free and off to the clubhouse.
I was offered a treatment (politely declined), and given a brief tour before settling in a nest of chairs overlooking the apron. I ordered a Manhattan along with a couple of tapas (Chicken Gyoza and Beef on Weck) and catched up on some news.
A little while later I ventured over to the restaurant area and had the Braised Pork and Apple Pie, which were amazingly good and also a couple of glasses with wine.
I was called for boarding at about 11:10 and offered a drink. I accepted some hot chocolate and ordered a plate of cheese and biscuits, which was served very quickly.
After I had eaten (for the third time) I disappeared to get changed and came back to my bed already and waiting (6k). The flight was un-eventful, only awaking after a couple of hours for a glass orange juice, before enjoying more cheese induced relaxing dreams!
For Breakfast I was offered coffee, a smoothie and a bacon roll. I have to be honest; it was the worst bacon roll I have ever been served, a processed bacon slice in dry bun. Thank god for the bottle of Heinz on the bar!
We landed only 30 minutes late, largely due to Heathrow airspace being crowded. I disembarked quickly, and finished off with a cooked breakfast and a cappuccino in Revivals.
