From what I read btw. it says 'book now' but if I read small print correct already booked flights will qualify aswell and you will get the same.

Interesting. I received the email and successfully registered but was disappointed since I've already got two return flights booked within the offer time period, and aren't likely to be booking any others. Fingers crossed my existing bookings may be eligible then!

As I remember the similar-ish offer this time last year did include existing bookings, but then I seem to recall that was all-round more generous.

Tempting, but I think I'll stick with my plan to fly BA from LCY on my next NY trip, to make sure I keep my silver status there. Still, going to register anyway, as will probably be heading somewhere else by February.

Not that I can ever imagine that I'd use the LR flights...

I wondered if we'd see anything like last September's bonus and hey presto here it is - albeit not quite as generous.

Perhaps one of the lovely VS staffers who post here could clarify whether the offer also applies to existing bookings within the offer timeframe? I've got an UC return booked over New Year so it would be lovely if it qualified!

I have just registered for the offer, let's see if yesterday's UC flight is valid for it.
Last years offer got me AU for the first time, I have just renewed this trip but the extra miles will come in handy.

It's interesting that a bonus TP offer has come around again. Not as generous as last year, but better than nothing.

Last year's bonus scheme was pretty good, mind you. Wasn't it 12 extra TPs if you qualified for all of them?

Members qualifying for this offer (the "Offer") (a "Qualifying Member") must (a) already be or become a Flying Club member, (b) register for the Offer as detailed in paragraphs 7 and 8 below, (c) have flown in Upper Class (in J,C,D,I,or Z booking classes) between 20 September 2013 and 28 February 2014 (inclusive) ("Qualifying Flights"), and (d) be 12 years of age or over.

Reward flights, complimentary upgrades to Upper Class awarded by Virgin Atlantic or upgrades to Upper Class purchased using Flying Club miles are excluded from this Offer.

Yep, this is only 8 if you qualify for all of them - won't look a gift horse in the mouth though. Complimentary flights on LR are quite cool - I wonder if that will mean I finally get to fly it
