Gemini jets have released their latest 747 in a tin. And its in the birthday girl livery. My gf got mine yesterday, but ill have to wait to get my hands on it as its my xmas present!

It costs a bit more than the others at £29.99, and its limited to only 5000.

Ive seen it for sale at http://www.collectorsaircraft.com

Cant wait till pay day so i can pick up G-VEIL and G-VROM to keep my collection complete!

Yep, been out for a while now, only a couple retailers have been able to get their hands on them, one of which was Classic Aero Models, but they've already sold out. You best bet is to call VS or to get one on eBay.

Hairy114,
My fondness is for G-VBIG, "Tinkerbelle", my first VS aircraft flown. Have ordered one from Gemini for my bookcase.

Thanks for reminding me!

You can buy G-VFAB onboard through Retail Therapy (and I believe its £21) so i would pre-order if you have an upcoming flight.

They were out of stock on the way home from the Vegas social so i'll be placing my order in advance for my next trip!! :D

Me too :)

Along with that rather cool, personalised bottle of Glenfiddich... for display purposes only!

Thanks,
Richard

ISTR from my last conversation with RT that the special LE model was only available through mail order (with no miles....again) - maybe they've changed that now. The £21 price sounds about right though.

Cheers

Unfortunatly for me, as I am not scheduled to go on any VS flight I was forced to get mine through an online retailer, making me pay more for it. But I really wanted it so I shouldn't really complain.

Yep, from what my GJ source tells me, they got these colors straight from paint chips from the actual planes. They're much more exact.

Thanks for the link hairy114. I ordered mine from them yesterday and it arrived this morning, and p+p was only £1.50.

And pegitt is right, there is definetally a difference in the colour.

There are a few of these 'Birthday Girl' models on the Virginunite auction page on ebay as mentioned in another thread. They are going for a 'buy it now' price of £24.99, plus £4 p+p to the UK.

Just in case anybody is after one.
