Each UC passenger can invite one guest, as long as they're also on your flight.

At most airports you're given an invitation when you drop off your bags, if not just ask for one and make sure it says +1.

Make sure you are given the lounge invite at check in. When we were there last December we were told we didn't need the invitation to just show your Flying Club gold card ( we were travelling in PE ). However when we got to the lounge they point blank refused us entry by just showing the gold card a long with another gold card holder and his wife. In the end we used our Priority Pass cards to allow us in and guest in the other two people denied access. The lounge is nothing special, a very poor selection of snacks and drinks.

I agree, it can be more fun to sip margeritas at one of the bars!

Just a quick update, our guests were allowed to check-in with us, they were more than happy to get upper class baggage tags :D

We received invites for the lounge but were told guests were not included and would have to pay.

I agree with both of you!! We went for a quick look, had one drink and left to find our friends, probably would have left anyway, its a small hot room with no view.
