Hello All

I will be booking 4 x PE MAN to MCO return flights for June 2014 as soon as the next sale brings up discount prices.

Is Delta the only code share airline that will get me on the same VS flight ?

Delta prices at the moment are £55 cheaper per person than VS for the same flight.

Are there disadvantages booking with Delta ?

Depending on the amount you may value those miles as being worth an additional £55 per head.

But for those who carry plat amex, that option isn't worth much now, as need to book flights through plat card to get the full insurance, MBNA must of lost a good few bookings since this came into force..

Hi
I was pointing out that at the moment Delta are the cheapest of high priced flights and am asking for any disadvantages of booking with Delta to travel on same VS plane

presumably I still get same 2 x suitcase allowance in PE and can pre book seats 90 days out.
Will I get VS frequent flyer miles ?

I will be hoping prices come down in the Christmas sale, when I will check both VS and Delta prices before booking

Interesting, I normally fly Delta and tried booking BE to MCO from MAN for Nov return Dec this year and could not get the direct VIR flight on the Delta booking engine. Finished up booking via the AmEx Plat service on VIR 075/076 UC. Tried again just now on the Delta site and it still will not show any VIR 075 flights for Nov this year only showing the usual DAL 65/39 combination to MCO.
