Just a heads up - cabin crew advised me yesterday on VS301 that the A346 is operating to DEL for just 10 days in November and December now instead of almost every day. Other days will remain on the A333 :(! . Thought anyone else travelling during these months might like to know so they take a look at their seat request - mine went from 2A to 7A outbound but kept 2K (since changed to 1K) inbound.

Anyone in VS know the reason for the change and what more profitable sector the lovely A346 has been moved to

Thank you for the heads up!!! I had my usual seats selected for VS300 on Nov 5 and VS301 on Nov 19 and both were billed as A346s. Checked just now and the aircraft is now the A333 for both flights B)

ahh yes, I have just checked my booking and my outbound to Delhi on 6th Dec and return on 16th Dec are both showing as the A333. Seat request has not changed though, still 4&5K.
It was previously shown as the A346.
I've not flown Upper in the A333 so looking forward to the experience, despite some negative reviews.

Got to agree.. I travel a lot on the A330 out to Mumbai and the set up just doesn't work. The seats are smaller, they pack in four rows, and it just loosing the upper class feel. On the a346 you feel like your in a special environment but on a a330 it feels like you pacted in like sardeens!! They should only have three rows in my opinion.

I hope they get it right on the 787's when they arrive!
