luggage drop off

hi

i have a booked 10pm flight on a weekday, i am planning on checking in online and then wanting to arrive at heathrow at a time where i do not have to sit around for hours. Can you guys please recommend a safe time to drop luggage for a PE flight?

also the front row in a PE cabin, how do i secure such a seat or are these seats purely for families with young children?

Bag drop closes 60 minutes prior to departure although VS recommend allowing 2 hours in case of queues at security etc.

As for seats, check just before OLCI opens at T-24 as previously blocked out seats often get released then. If that row's still not available online you'll have to ask at the airport as it may be kept back for babies/special assistance pax.

I believe the front row in PE is usually kept back but if at checkin they are available then it's first come first served.
We have been lucky enough to sit in those seats twice we did check in really early too
