Hoping for some feedback on UC seating.

I am travelling on a 747 LGW-1 configuration aircraft to Montego Bay in March. I will arrange seat allocations as soon as the 90 day mark arrives. I have been fortunate enough to have travelled in the 'A Zone' on many occasions & have usually favoured seats in rows 8 or 9. This trip is a surprise for my partners 50th birthday so was wondering what folks think about seats 6 A & K at the front of the cabin. Do these seats have a window? Would anyone with experience of these seats recommend them or would I be better off with say 8 & 9 A or K?

Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

We love 6A/K (or 12A/K on the LHR fleet), I think they are perfect when travelling as a couple as you can easily have a conversation without twisting or having to shout over the aisle. There is also a little shelf just in front of the suite which is perfect for additional storage during the flight.

There are 2 windows each, and you can easily see out of the windows opposite so no issues there.

I agree with Neil 6a & 6k were great on my trip just gone for me and my other half! You are closer so don't need to talk so loud. With the shelf in front just be careful as I used it 2 years ago and had to put my bag in a overhead locker I'm not sure if they allow you to use it as storage but it's not a problem on board! I am yet to experience the LHR seats but Neil I will keep 12A & 12 k in mind if I fly from there

You can't have anything on the shelf for take off / landing, but during the flight it is fine to put things on.

On the 90 days when the seat map opens it usually allows you to book 8am or just after so be ready at the computer to keep trying.
