OLCI LittleRed to VS45

Hi people, first time post here.
Seen on this forum that some people have had problems when doing OLCI involving little red then transfer to Intl flight ie only being able select seats on first leg but not on Intl flight. Has this matter now been resolved? Bit worried as travelling 9th Nov on VS3042 MAN-LHR to connect with VS45 LHR-JFK and on pre allocation my gf and I have been given seats on different rows on opposite side of aircraft and there are no more seats available for selection.
Hope matter is now resolved

Didn't have any issues last month when I flew out of MAN and joined VS5 to MIA. I had my requested seats on both flights. Of course the VS5 OLCI opened later than the MAN flight for T-24.

You will be issued boarding passes at MAN, so if you didn't get your seats online, speak to them when checking in at MAN.

Ok thank you. So sounds like you need to check in 24 hours before VS45 rather than 24 before VS3042. Fingers crossed all goes to plan

iirc you can do it separately. OLCI for VS3042 first then roughly an hour later OLCI for VS45.
