So after years with blackberry, we have changed to iPhones. (Can't get everything to sync, but that's for another day)

If I get my boarding passes sent to the passbook app for my outbound flights ie, my BA shuttle and my VS transatlantic flights, can I still get a paper one as a backup ..... Not that I don't trust technology ):

I believe you can't do the inbound stuff yet ?|

Oh and any other good ones to use ?

Thanks to our resident Genius Bar (s)

David :)

Hi David you can print out your boarding pass at home when you do online check in
If that's not an option you can get one at the airport (at baggage drop I believe)

VS did seem to be having issues with passbook a week or so ago (as reported on here). No idea if it's fixed yet though?

When it does work, it's great and yes, it's only for UK departures so far.

If you read my recent trip report you will see that the email with the link for Passbook did not arrive until I was settled into the Clubhouse. I couldn't have got in there without a boarding pass which I received on check-in, so the simple answer is yes, you can have paper ones as back-up
