Hello

I have a flight booked on VS5/6 for March next year.

I am just wondering if anyone knows how Seat Selection works. On the website it says a selection of seats become available 90 days prior. Do you have to pay to select your seat at this point or is it free?

Furthermore, if I were to book Extra Legroom seats what are the chances of myself and my friend being allocated window and middle seat? (3-4-3 747 config) I would hate to get the middle and aisle seats.

Finally, anyone know what side of the plane is best to sit at on Little Red flights into LHR for the best views?

Sorry for all the questions

Thanks
Zack

Hi Zack, no problem it is what V-Flyer is for :P

-Seat selection is still free at T-90 (for the time being at least)

- Whilst extra legroom seats can be booked and paid for in advance, seat allocation is left until check in. They have to make sure you look able enough to help in case of an evacuation. Window seats are popular so just make sure to ask for one when you book and check in with plenty of time to spare.

-Given the holding patterns into LHR are very circular both sides get some pretty awesome views across the capital. I do prefer the left hand side to the right though.. no idea why tbh.

Any other questions.. ask away 8D

Hello

Thanks for very much for replies. Im hoping to secure one of the sets of 2 at the back of the 747 on the flight. I know I have set my hopes high but the prospect of having to ask someone to move through a nine hour flight worries me. My friend won't sit in the middle so im stuck to either booking a 2 seat or having to kindly ask someone to move a few times.

May have to consider the extra leg room should I not secure a 2 seat simply because I may get lucky and be able to squeeze past instead of nagging someone.

No need to worry about my Little Red flight then either side will do!

Thanks for the advice :)
